Aloha Kakou!

Pehea'oe? Hau'oli au! How are you? I am happy! It's the first day of school!!!! HOORAY!!!! It has been a fantastic summer being home with the kids (something I have not done since Nathan and Avery were the only children we had ). Perhaps age has made me appreciate this fantastic opportunity more than I ever did before. Maybe my seizure has made me appreciate life more too. I think the answer is both. I am happy to be alive regardless!

Our original plan for tonight was to have a pre-jam BBQ at our usual spot in Bowness Park, but unfortunately there is still a fire ban on for the Calgary area. I have a little camping stove, but nothing big enough to BBQ with so we will just meet to jam and not BBQ.

If you are still interested in being in Pirate Jim's Ukulele Posse performing group, please arrive early at 7pm for a rehearsal.

This weeks kanikapila will be at Bowness Park - Site 3. (If it rains we'll be at the shack)
