Aloha kakou! Pehea'oe? Hau'oli la pōʻaluao aloha! Hello everyone. How are you? Happy Aloha Tuesday! I hope you are doing well. I am in the middle of week 3 of my seizure recovery and although my muscles are still sore I feel better mentally and my creativity has exploded! I am busy working on my filmmaking course and The Ho'okipa Project. I have further details on that down below. I also am very close to announcing a performance date in Calgary for Pirate Jim's Ukulele Posse. Stay Tuned!
Ukulele Underground Aloha Friday Jam! I have been aware of a fantastic ukulele website for many years called the Ukulele Underground. Ukulele Underground was created in 2007 with the purpose of helping to grow the next generation of ukulele players throughout the world. For years, the ukulele had been labeled a toy instrument never to be taken seriously. Today, Ukulele Underground continues to challenge the world's preconceived notions of what the ukulele is supposed to sound like and break barriers that limit the types of music the ukulele is associated with. You can even Jam live with Aldrine every Friday or catch the replay anytime you like. Check out last Friday's jam:

The changes include:
- The project is becoming a documentary series that will be available online. The first episode is already in production with the first film shoot happening during the Calgary Stampede Parade on July 7, 2017.
- We are no longer recording audio during our trip to Kaua'i. The recording of our songs will be done here in Calgary. We will still create a music video for one of the songs and the " behind the scenes" movie will be now become part of the documentary web series.
- Pirate Jim's Ukulele Posse will be performing in around Calgary throughout the summer and fall. Some of these performances will be filmed for the documentary series. Watch for show announcements in the coming weeks and be and extra, crew or part of the studio audience.
